anatomy of a hack

I did not originally think it necessary to write this, but in response to recent correspondence and accusations, I feel compelled to state the obvious. By the use of the word 'hacking', my intentions are not that of illegal activity. I refer to the 8th Edition of the Pocket Oxford Dictionary:

hacker n.

1. person or thing that hacks or cuts roughly.
2. colloq.
   1. person whose hobby is computing or computer programming.
   2. person who uses a computer to gain unauthorized access to a computer network.

It hopefully should be apparent to the reader that my intentions are are reflected in sense 2.1 rather than sense 2.2.
